What we had were Tandoori Non-Veg Platter and Egg Katti Roll. The platter consisted of kebab pieces prepared in five different ways. The malai kebab (chicken pieces marinated in cashew), reshmi kebab (marinated in egg), hariyali kebab (marinated in spinach paste), tandoori and mutton kebab made up the combo.
This would be an ideal dish to order at Coriander if you want different tastes of kebabs. Coupling it with the mint sauce made especially for the dish would not be bad, although that's not required. Presentation-wise, the dish celebrates colors, with the kebabs already looking very colorful, and the salad and the little candle placed in the garnishing.
The Egg Katti Roll was soft, and easy to eat. The roll felt good, especially when warm. But the choice of sauce was a little peculiar.
The restaurant claims one of their prized dishes to be katti rolls, so this could've been better. But we aren't complaining. If curiosity is to lead anywhere, maybe you could find yourself admiring their Chicken Katti Rolls or any other from their wide variety of it.
It's a definite place to be if you're looking to eat non-vegetarian, as they have a menu dedicated mostly for non-vegetarian items. And on that, especially the Halal meat, which sets them apart from the rest, as they want to be identified as an authentic Halal restaurant. They have opened their doors for people seeking it since they opened a year ago.
With just a floor, they operate and can serve as many people, as they believe in serving good food. They have been getting a few comments regarding the décor. However, they are thinking of complying with the suggestions by the well-wishers.
Coriander's specialty lies in bringing the rich tastes of Indian cuisines, and they have attempted to leave no stone unturned. If you're looking for a lunch or dinner meetings with friends, it could be your choice. With all the facilities that eateries these days compulsorily provide, WiFi to name one, the fact that they don't charge VAT or tax is a bonus. Like its namesake, Coriander could enhance your experience.
