At a press meet organized to review the Kala Patthar to Copenhagen campaign, Minister for Forests and Soil Conservation said that $124635.14 was the total income of the project which was received from various donors like World Bank, WWF, UNDP, DfID and other private organizations like NMA, TAAN, HAN etc.
The expenditure sheet stated that the Save the Himalaya Fund has already received $95,175.68 and $29,459.46 is yet to be collected from the donors. It also said that a total of $117,434 was spent on travel and accommodation and $7,159.63 was its secretariat´s cost. The expenditure, however, does not include the spending of the cabinet meeting at Kala Patthar.
The government also announced that the Summitteers´ March campaign will take place outside the UN in New York in May.
