KATHMANDU, March 14: The cooperative victims gathered in Kathmandu have staged demonstrations today.
The victims gathered in the capital from different parts of the country staged demonstrations from five different focal points and gather at Bhrikutimandap to hold a corner meeting.

Kalimati, BG Mall near Gongbu New Bus Park, Shankha Park, Sifal Chaur, and Jawalakhel have been identified as focal points for the demonstrations. The victim gathered at Sundhara and commence a march from these five locations at around 11 AM. Then, all groups will unite in Sundhara before proceeding to Bhrikutimandap for the corner meeting.
The demonstration of co-operative victims will be led by Bachatkarta Sangrakchyan Rastriya Abhiyan Mahasangh. Mahasangh President Kushalab KC warned that if the government fails to address their demands today, all victims will march to the cooperative department.
"Previously, the Minister of Cooperatives had pledged to repay all outstanding interests to cooperative victims by mid-April. However, since no action has been taken yet, we are compelled to initiate protests," stated President KC. "If our demands are not met today, all of us gathered in Kathmandu will occupy the cooperative department and continue our protest by cooking and eating there."
Additionally, some representatives of the cooperative victims have initiated a hunger strike at the cooperative department.
