Constitution may not be possible without managing the armies: Nepal

KATHMANDU, Feb 3: Former CPN-UML General Secretary Madhav Kumar Nepal has said the arms and the armies must be managed first for writing a new constitution. He said the dispute and mistrust among the political parties also could pose a serious challenge for completing a new constitution on time.

Speaking to myrepublica.com on Sunday, Nepal said his committee faces an enormous challenge of forging consensus among the 25 political parties, various ethnic and indigenous groups on the new constitution.
