Congestion causing recharge problems, NT says

KATHMANDU, Dec 11: Do you have any problems recharging your Nepal Telecom (NT) simcards in recent days? 'Yes,' is the answer from most of the customers.

NT on Friday said that the congestion in the network has been affecting its recharge service. According to a press statement issued by the NT, the company had introduced Rs 50 recharge cards for its customers.

"The high demand of Rs 50 recharge cards had caused congestion in the recharge system," the company said.


The company further said that it encourages its customers to use MPoS technology to recharge. "The company has been observing customer awareness program to promote alternative recharge system (MPoS technology," the company said in its press statement.
