Condolence motion passed over Koirala's demise

KATHMANDU, Feb 16: A meeting of the Social Justice and Human Rights Committee of the Legislature-Parliament on Tuesday passed a condolence motion on the demise of Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sushil Koirala.

The meeting chaired by the committee's chair Sushil Shrestha passed the condolence motion. Late Koirala had played a vital role in drafting the new constitution.

Former PM Koirala was the main opposition leader who was elected to parliament in 2048 BS and 2056 BS from Banke and to the Constituent Assembly in 2070 BS from Banke-3 and Chitwan-4. RSS
