Committee formed to probe TIA incident

KATHMANDU, Jan 27: The Ministry of Home Affairs has formed a three-member committee to look into the scuffle among the customs' staff and police persons at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

KATHMANDU, Jan 27: The Ministry of Home Affairs has formed a three-member committee to look into the scuffle among the customs' staff and police persons at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).



A team coordinated by Ministry's Joint-Secretary Thaneshwor Gautam was formed to probe the incident that took place at TIA, Kathmandu on Friday.

The team comprising Nepal Police's Deputy Inspector General Rajeshnath Bastola and Immigration Administration's Under-Secretary Kul Bahadur GC is tasked to present a report within three days with recommendations.
