BIRGUNJ, May 27: Colleges in Birgunj have reopened after nine days of closure by the Madhesi Intellectual Forum.

The forum had closed the colleges since May 18 demanding proportionate representation of all ethnic groups in admission to intermediate in nursing at Birgunj Nursing Campus.
The colleges reopened after the Madhesi Forum, All Nepal National Free Students´ Union and the Chief District Officer (CDO) of Parsa reached an agreement on Tuesday to make the admission for nursing studies more inclusive.
