Cold wave cripples normal life in Terai districts (with photos)

LAHAN, Dec 17: Cold wave has crippled people's daily life in various districts of Province 2.

LAHAN, Dec 17: Cold wave has crippled people's daily life in various districts of Province 2.


The districts including Bara, Parsa, Rautahat, Sarlahi, Mahottari, Dhanusha and Siraha have witnessed very little sunshine in recent days due to heavy fog.

People have been hit hard due to the cold wave. Public transportation has also been disrupted. The temperature of Siraha's Lahan was 10 degree centigrade today morning.



Vehicles are plying the roads with their headlights during day time. People's movement across the province has been affected. Minority groups in the Terai region have been badly affected in the wake of the cold wave.



Schools and colleges have remained almost closed for the past few days. Major markets across the province have remained shut.
