KATHMANDU, May 7:: Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) has demanded compensation for damages in limestone mines of Shivam Cement.
An unidentified group had torched five excavators in the mine of Shivam Cement on Thursday, causing damage of around Rs 50 million, CNI said in a statement on Sunday.
It has also urged all concerned to protect investment of private sector. “CNI has noted that the security situation has improved and incidents of such attacks on industries were rare in recent times. But this event has made the industrial sector serious,” CNI said in the statement.
