Climber Mingma David Sherpa inaugurates Varnabas Museum Hotel

KATHMANDU, Feb 2: Varnabas Museum Hotel, a five-star hotel under construction in the capital Kathmandu, is celebrating its opening month with various activities throughout February. The hotel was inaugurated on February 1 by climber Mingma David Sherpa by hoisting a flag on the hotel’s roof.

The dining hall of the restaurant has been constructed in such a way that it resembles  Everest Base Camp. Therefore, Sherpa hoisted the flag of Varnabas Museum Hotel on the hotel’s roof. 

Mingyur Rinpoche also performed rituals in the inaugural month. Hotelier and MP Rajendra Bajgain said that various activities will be conducted in the hotel throughout this month. Built with an investment of more than one billion rupees, this hotel offers its guests a unique experience of art, culture and civilization of various tribes of Nepal.
