KATHMANDU, Oct 21: Nepal have achieved a clean sweep in the T-20I series, defeating the USA by eight wickets in the final match today.
Chasing a target of 157 runs, Nepal secured the victory with two wickets remaining and eight balls to spare. Opener Ashif Sheikh contributed with the highest 50 runs, while Kushal Malla scored 44 runs and Kushal Bhurtel remained not out at 40 runs. Anil Shah added 13 runs before his dismissal.

After winning the toss, the USA invited Nepal to field first, posting a total of 156 runs at the loss of five wickets in their allotted overs. Saiteja Mukkamalla was the standout performer for the USA, scoring 68 runs, while Milind Kumar contributed an unbeaten 43 runs. Other players struggled to make an impact.
For Nepal, Sompal Kami was the standout bowler, taking three wickets for 27 runs. Lalit Rajbanshi and Rijan Dhakal each took a wicket.
In earlier matches of the series, Nepal defeated the USA by 17 runs in the first match and won the second match in a Super Over.
