Meanwhile, A-G Karki took charge of his office.
Karki, who had taught at Nepal Law Campus for the past 35 years and was Head of Department, was appointed to the post by the government.
Talking with journalists after taking charge of office, Karki said he will focus in controlling impunity, materializing the issues of public concern, making effective the rule of law, and will play a cooperative role in constitution-making process by forging co-work with concerned sides.
He also said he was positive in the representation of the Attorney General for making the Judicial Council inclusive.
He said the office could not play effective role as the attorney general has to leave as soon as the prime minister resigns as its tenure is as desired by the PM, and suggested its amendment.
