KATHMANDU, Feb 22: Civil Bank Limited has announced the launch of a new saving product named 'Sagarmatha Bachat Khata' which offers 10 percent interest rate per annum. Issuing a statement on Wednesday, the bank said that the saving account with a minimum balance of Rs 1,000 offers free Internet banking, ATM card, SMS banking service and mobile banking service. Other facilities include 50 percent rebate on annual charge of safe deposit locker and coverage of accidental death/permanent disability insurance of up to Rs 500,000, according to the statement.
