KATHMANDU, March 22: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CIB) of Nepal Police is continuing its investigation into the alleged land grabbing of the Bansbari Leather and Shoe Factory.

On Thursday morning, industrialist Binod Chaudhary was summoned to the District Government Attorney's Office, where he provided a two-hour statement to the authorities.

Earlier on Wednesday, industrialist Chaudhary's middle brother Basanta Chaudhary was interrogated by the CIB team. As the investigation progresses, the authorities have now turned their attention to gathering documents and statements from other members of the Chaudhary family.

Additionally, the CIB has recently taken a statement from Industrialist Chaudhary's brother-in-law, Mahesh Agarwal.

The CIB had previously arrested Arun Chaudhary, chairman and managing director of CG Holdings, on February 1, but was released from custody. As part of the ongoing probe, the CIB has also recorded the statement of Arun's wife, Sheela Chaudhary.
