CIAA files graft case against IoE professor

KATHMANDU, Aug 8: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Monday filed a charge sheet against Professor at Institute of Engineering (IoE), Pulchowak , Prof. Dr. Bharat Raj Pahari for amassing wealth illegally.

The anti-graft body has accused Pahari of earning Rs 24 million illegally.

Thus, the commission has filled the charge sheet claiming a maximum punishment along with Rs Rs 24 million in fine and confiscation of property registered under the names of Pahari and his wife Shova Pahari, reads the statement issued by CIAA.
