The PLA combatants will shoulder up the responsibility stipulated in the first point of the pact on the agenda of integration, management and rehabilitation of Maoist combatants, said PLA First Division Commander Yam Bahadur Adhikari ‘Pratikshya’, adding the deal has brought cheers to combatants in the camp.
Nepal is lagging behind in development and it is the matter of joy for them to get engaged in development works, he further said, expressing hope that it will change their perspective to see the Nepal Army and Armed Police Force.
‘With this we want to dedicate ourselves for development revolution in the country and will bring about great change in the country within 10 years if everything remains favorable’, he asserted.
Commander Adhikari argued, ‘Business and industry here are demanding security and if it is guaranteed they will flourish and foreign investment is attracted’.
They are also the citizens of the country and will not abstain from discharging the responsibility the government entrusts to them.
