Chinese tourists see Nepal as a preferred destination

KATHMANDU, April 20: Young Chinese tourists see Nepal as the preferred destination, a press statement issued by the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) claimed on Monday.

The NTB concluded following the responses from Chinese tourists in 11th China Outbound Travel and Tourism Mart (COTTM) 2015 in Beijing from 14-16 April held in China National Agriculture Exhibition Center.NTB participated alongside four companies from Nepal- Shangrila Hotel and resorts, Abhiwadan Holidays, Global Asia Travel and Tours and Himalayan Glacier Trekking Pvt. Ltd. The three-day fair saw a host of buyers thronging to Nepal stall to inquire about the attractions in Nepal. Companies from Nepal reported an encouraging sign for Nepal tourism in China.

COTTM showcased over 380 exhibitors from 65 countries. The show remains the best platform for China's outbound tour operators and travel professionals to meet, discuss and contact upcoming season for their clients, the press statement adds.
