Chinese FM returns home after a three-day official visit to Nepal

KATHMANDU, March 27: Visiting Chinese Foreign Minister and State Councilor Wang Yi has concluded his three days official visit to Nepal today.

KATHMANDU, March 27: Visiting Chinese Foreign Minister and State Councilor Wang Yi has concluded his three days official visit to Nepal today.


Foreign Secretary Bharat Raj Paudyal and other officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs saw the Chinese delegation led by Minister Wang off at the Tribhuvan International Airport.


Earlier this morning, State Councilor Wang paid a courtesy call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari. Various matters of Nepal-China relations were discussed on the occasion.

Wang also met with former Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN-UML K P Sharma Oli and former Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal on separate occasions.


Wang arrived in Kathmandu on a three-day official visit to Nepal on March 25. During his stay in Kathmandu, Wang held a meeting with his Nepali counterpart Dr Narayan Khadka. The two countries have signed nine agreements to further bolster cooperation between Nepal and China during Wang’s visit.
