KATHMANDU, March 25: Chinese Defence Minister and State Councilor, General Chang Wanquan, today visited the Basantapur Durbar Square where various heritages enlisted in World Heritage site were damaged by the April 25, 2015 earthquake.
On the occasion, General Chang observed the area with keen interest, taking several photographs and raising concerns for its timely construction. Following the visit, General Chang shared that he was inspired by the Nepali arty-crafty.
Chang arrived here Thursday on a three-day official visit, leading a 19-member Chinese delegation at the invitation of Defence Minister Bal Krishna Khand. RSS
