KATHMANDU, Aug 21: Minister for Finance Dr Yubraj Khatiwada, and Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Hou Yanqi, held a meeting on Wednesday.
During the meeting held at the Finance Ministry, they reviewed the under-construction development projects carried out by the Chinese companies and discussed the progress of the projects run with the support of the Chinese government as well.

A press release issued by the Finance Ministry read that discussion was held on forwarding second-phase construction of the Kathmandu Ring Road and increasing investment from Chinese financial institutions in Nepal's infrastructure development.
EU Ambassador pays courtesy call Meanwhile, Ambassador of the European Union to Nepal, Veronica Cody, paid a courtesy call on Finance Minister Dr Khatiwada on Wednesday itself. Discussion on EU's support and bilateral interest was held.
