According to President of Chilime Hydropower Employees Union Biplav Khadka, the indefinite second phase agitation has begun since March 31 after submitting 12-charter demand to the company secretariat. The agitating employees in the memorandum drew the attention of the hydropower management to work in a way to serve the interests of the company and employees.
The employees' union expressed concern over the erroneous transfer of Account Chief to company secretary, irregularities in sending employees to foreign trips and indifference to distribute right shares to the employees.
President Khadka further said they have launched the second phase peaceful stir against the management's sheer ignorance to hold talks for solution and mobilization of police to suppresses their demands.
The union formed in line with the law and mandate of the government-recognized trade union has enforced disruption of all administrative works at the central office and Chilime centre, Khadka added.
He said the second phase agitation would be decisive and end all malaises emerging in the Chilime hydropower company. RSS
