ROLPA, July 29: A 14-year-old boy was gruesomely murdered by his step mother for the fear that her extra-marital affair would be revealed at Iribang VDC-1.
According to District Police Office, Rolpa, teenager Bharat Pun Magar was murdered by his own step mother Bimala Pun Magar in cahoots with her lover Govinda Pun Magar.

According to a preliminary investigation of the police, the accused Bimala and Govinda strangled Bharat to death to show that the child committed suicide by hanging himself.
Bimala and Govinda, a local, have been on an extra-marital affair sine last seven months, shows police investigation.
The accused confessed to the police that they killed Bharat after fearing that their illegal affair would be leaked.
The victim’s father is in Qatar as a migrant worker. “We killed the child for the fear that the he would tell about our affairs to his father,” the police quoted the couple as confessing. The locals had reported the murder to the police.
