Child murdered after abduction in Sarlahi, seven arrested

SARLAHI, April 7: A child has been killed after being abducted in Sarlahi. The body of the boy, who had been missing since April 3, was found in a neighbor’s safety tank, according to the police.

SARLAHI, April 7: A child has been killed after being abducted in Sarlahi. The body of the boy, who had been missing since April 3, was found in a neighbor’s safety tank, according to the police.


“The body of Aakash Thakur, 10, of Gamhariya Tol of Malangwa Municipality-12 has been found inside the safety tank of his neighbor Jagdish Thakur,” said Sarlahi Police Chief SP Prabin Pokharel.

The family members asked the police to search for Thakur after he went to a party in the evening of April 3 and did not return home. While searching for the missing child for a long time, the police found the body of the child in the safety tank of a neighbor.


On the day the boy went missing, Sarlahi District Police Chief SP Pokharel assumed office on the same day the boy went missing. Police have arrested seven persons allegedly involved in the murder of the child.
