ACHHAM May 7: A child from Melkatiya of Ramaroshan Rural Municipality-7 in Dadeldhura district died in a lightning strike last night.
The lightning strike killed six-year-old Gaurab Bhandari, the son of Kamal Bhandari, according to Kadka Bahadur Bhandari, former ward chairman.

Meanwhile, three persons of the same family were injured, while their house was destroyed in the lightning strike on Monday evening.
The thunder bolt hit Devaki Pandeya, his spouse Chandrawati Devi and son Dipesh from Koteuda of Amargadhi Municipality-3.
A local Bishnu Pandeya informed RSS that the injured are out of risk.
