The deceased has been identified as three-year-old Suraj Ranabhat of Jamune VDC.The accident took place while a tourist bus (Ba 1 Pa 790) heading towards Kathmandu from Pokhara hit the child.[break]
Relatives of the deceased have halted traffic along the Prithvi Highway.
Police have arrested the bus driver and impounded the vehicle, according to the District Police Office, Tanahun.
