Santosh Khatri, Raju Chhetri, Gaurav Shah, and Jitendra Pariyar also entered the quarterfinals. Santosh eased past Yam Gurung 6-3, 6-3 while Gaurav beat Aatma Ram Karki 6-4, 7-5. Jitendra defeated Raju Shrestha 6-1, 6-1.
Daniel M Upton and Harbendra Singh Chaddha won their respective matches in the 35 plus age group on Sunday during the tournament organized by All Nepal Lawn-Tennis Association. Daniel thrashed Pratibodh Pradhan 6-3, 6-2 while Harbendra upset Gauri Shankar Shrestha 6-1, 6-1.
