KATHMANDU, April 19: Chemical fertilizers imported from China are currently being transported to Kathmandu from the Tatopani Customs Office.
After being stored in warehouses for approximately 11 months, the fertilizer importer, Trans Silk, has completed the necessary procedures. Subsequently, the fertilizers are now being transported to Kathmandu. According to the Customs Office, a total of 3,500 tons of fertilizers were dispatched to Kathmandu following an agreement between Agriculture Inputs Limited Company and the importer.
Dayanand KC, head of the Tatopani Customs Office, reported that more than 1,200 tons of the fertilizer shipment has successfully passed inspection and arrived in Kathmandu. The remaining fertilizer is currently undergoing inspection procedures and is expected to reach Kathmandu shortly.
