On the occasion, Lama lauded the crucial role played by Tamang against human trafficking and wished her for the further success in the field.
She was honored to recognize her special contributions to prevent human trafficking, informed Federation’s General Secretary, Shyam Tamang.
The award was instituted by the Federation in 2066 B.S. in the memory of Gorimaya Tamang, who was reportedly abducted and killed by the then rebel force U-CPN (Maoist) in 2061 BS.
