KATHMANDU, June 9: The Chancen Building in Nepal, a Germany-based social organization, has provided medical aid worth Rs 500,000 to Changunarayan Hospital in Bhaktapur district.
The organization has extended the support to the hospital in a bid to help the hospital to combat the second wave of COVID-19, according to Naresh Daubanjar, coordinator of Bhaktapur Branch of the organization.
The medical supplies include three sets of patient monitors, 20 sets of PPEs and four boxes of gloves.
The supplies were handed over to the mayor of Changunarayan Municipality, Som Prasad Mishra. On his part, Mishra thanked all the helping hands amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Likewise, the Bhaktapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry also provided the hospital with two sets of oxygen concentrators.
