KATHMANDU, Sept 30: Chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Pashupati Shumsher Rana, said the major challenges before the country for the implementation of the constitution are the elections in three levels.
"It seems tough job to hold elections in three levels within the constitutionally stipulated time," he said during a greetings exchange program organized by the party's sister wing in the capital city Friday.
Challenges galore for new home minister
According to him, coping up challenges needs collaboration and consensus among the political parties.
On different note, leader Rana said, "The cultures and festivities of different ethnic communities have tremendous values to foster integrity in the country."
On the occasion, party leader and Minister for Supplies said the government has adopted a policy of taking stringent measure against those involved in black marketing.
Similarly, Minister for Land Reform and Management Bikram Pande expressed belief that the festival as Dashain helps boost social and cultural harmony in the country. Also speaking on the occasion, Bijay Kala Rai, said cultures of different communities are for boosting the unity and nationality. RSS
