KATHMANDU, March 25: Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Center), Pushpa Kamal Dahal has stressed consensus and collaboration among the ruling political parties.

At a foundation stone laying program of an administrative building of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Chair Dahal shared that this situation would not have come if the political parties had headed alone.

Saying the constitution was promulgated through a collaboration of political parties, he argued that the establishment of peace and the promulgation of constitution was not possible without the political parties' collaboration and consensus.  

Chair Dahal said, "Some of our friends in the context of the alliance have been saying that the party should not make an alliance in local polls and we are ready for this if they want it." 

Similarly, Mayor of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Renu Dahal, Deputy Mayor Parbati Shah Thakuri, and Chief Executive Officer Ram Bandhu Subedi briefed Dahal on the development construction activities carried out by the metropolis. 

The Bharatpur Metropolitan City has announced a tender for the construction of the building at a cost of Rs 943.2 million.
