KATHMANDU, May 1: Chaudhary Group (CG) -- the authorized distributor of LG consumer electronics for Nepal -- is giving away two-night, three-day package free of cost to every buyer of LG UHD and OLED TV.

According to the group, the offer has been launched on the occasion of Nepali New Year 2074 BS. “The company has brought various offers on home entertainment and home appliances. Customers buying 55-inch OLED TV, and 65-inch and 60-inch UHD TV of LG will get a two-night, three-day stay for a couple at Meghauli Serai Taj Safari Lodge in Chitwan worth Rs 75,000 free of cost,” the group said in a statement. “Customers will also get discounts of up to 20 percent while LG TV sets.”

While 55-inch LG OLED TV costs Rs 556,290, 65-inch UHD and 60-inch UHD television sets are available at Rs 387,990 and Rs 324,990, respectively. 

“Customers will save a total of Rs 166,700, Rs 147,000 and Rs 135,000 on purchase of 55-inch OLED TV, 65-inch UHD TV and 60-inch UHD TV, respectively,” Purshottam Bhandari, assistant general manager at CG Digital Park, Satungal, said.

The New Year offer also includes up to 20 percent cash discounts and gift hampers on purchase of LG Smart and LG Enjoy series television. Likewise, customers will save Rs 48,190 on purchase of 55-inch UHD TV, Rs 43,190 on 49-inch UHD TV, and Rs 37,090 on 43-inch UHD TV. Similarly, customers will also get LG home theater system worth Rs 12,390 for free on every purchase of 55-inch, 49-inch and 43-inch UHD TV, according to the statement.

“With the introduction of New Year Offer, sale of LG products has increased by 50 percent compared to last year. The response received from customers has been overwhelming,” Bhandari said. 

The offer, which was launched on April 22, is valid for a limited period, according to the company.
