LALITPUR (GODAWARI), April 19: The Central Zoo urges the public to immediately report incidents involving injured, orphaned, or abused wild animals.

Zoo chief Satyanarayana Shah explained that as soon as the zoo receives information about such incidents, a trained rescue team promptly arrives at the site to carry out the operation. "Our experienced rescue team operates not only within the Kathmandu Valley but also across Nepal to rescue animals," Shah said. He also shared that recently, the team rescued two leopards in Ramechhap. The rescue was completed in coordination with the zoo and relevant agencies shortly after receiving the information.

The zoo's chief has urged the public to report any cases of animal abuse, attacks, or neglect to the relevant authorities or the zoo immediately. This is believed to play a vital role in wildlife conservation.
