Electing to bat first, Nepal SBI Bank posted a 102 run victory challenge, losing all their wickets in 18.3 overs. Monish Shrestha top scored with 55 runs off 39 deliveries, with eight boundaries and two sixes. Likewise, Min Bahadur Gurung made 25 off 31, with three fences and a six.
Man-of-the-match Rajiv Saud of Casino Everest claimed four wickets in his four-over spell, conceding 22 runs, while Arun Chand, Bedendra Gupta and Roshan Bam registered one scalp each in their name.
Following the run chase, Casino Everest easily managed 102 runs in 11.3 overs, losing three wickets. Arun Chand of the winning side struck an unbeaten 28, with five boundaries off 21 balls, while Shankhar Thapa (27), Daman Chand (19) and Rajiv Saud (9 unbeaten) contributed the rest of the runs for their team. Milan Shrestha and Abhishek Sharma took one wicket each for SBI Bank.
Similarly, in the last group match of the tournament, Sunrise Bank humiliated Everest Bank by 10 wickets, to book its place for the semis from group ´A´, with seven points.
Opting to bat first, Everest Bank accumulated a paltry 65 runs in 16.4 overs. Yogesh Shrestha (15), Shrawan Bista (12), Santosh Shrestha (11) were the only players to reach double figures for Everest Bank.
Man-of-the-match Dipendra Chaudhary of Sunrise Bank claimed four wickets and hammered 46 off 21 deliveries, with four sixes and as many boundaries, to steer his team towards a comfortable victory, as he and his partner Dipesh Sharma (6) shared a 69-run knock in 4.4 overs.
