Case filed against 18 for prostitution

SANKHU, Dec 10: Police have filed a case against 18 persons on the charge of indulging in prostitution in various parts of Boudha in the capital. Of them three are hotel entrepreneurs.

SANKHU, Dec 10: Police have filed a case against 18 individuals on the charge of indulging in prostitution in various parts of Boudha in the capital. Three among them are hotel entrepreneurs. 


A case has been filed against three hotel entrepreneurs including Anjali Tamang,30, of Narayantar, Chandra Bahadur Gole,28, and Asmita Thapamagar,27, of Jambudanda and 15 others for indulging in flesh trade, said DSP at the Metropolitan Police Range, Boudha Narendra Chand. Those charged include 14 women and four men.

The 18 were among the 27 persons arrested in a raid on December 8 in Naya Basti, Jambudanda and Narayantar of Boudha. Hotels and restaurants in the area were found involved in prostitution.
