DOLAKHA, Nov 13: An unidentified group torched a motorbike and a car parked at a house here in the wee hours today and decamped.
Car and motorcycle fall off the landslide-hit road
The car belongs to Indra Shrestha, the General Secretary of the Dolakha Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the motorcycle to the District Development Committee (DDC) Dolakha. It is used by the DDC information officer Bikram Karki. Another motorcycle belonging to a local Rabindra Pokharel was also set on fire by the assailants, police said.
The incident took place at around 2 am today. The miscreants are learnt to have pulled out the motorbike parked inside the house compound and set it on fire. The fire was brought under control with the joint efforts of the police and the locals. Had the fire not brought under control in time, it would have caught the house, witnesses said. RSS
