KATHMANDU, Dec 21: Sharad Vesawkar-led Bhairahawa Gladiators reached the final of Everest Premier League (EPL) for the second successive time in two years of its existence at the expense of Kathmandu Kings XI in the match played at Kirtipur on Thursday.
Panchakanya Tez under Vesawkar’s captaincy had won the first season of EPL when it was played under the corporate names in 2014 defeating Colors X-Factors in the final played at the Kirtipur cricket ground.

The 30-year-old’s domination as a captain of the franchise team expands further with final appearances in recently held inaugural season of Pokhara Premiere League (PPL) in October and first ever city-based franchise league of Nepal, Dhangadhi Premier League (DPL) in 2017.
In PPL, Vesawkar-led Pokhara Paltan defeated Paras Khadka-led Chitwan Rhinos in the final match by three wickets chasing the target of 161 runs. Similarly, Biratnagar Kings lost the final against Khadka-led Team Chauraha Dhangadhi in the final of DPL by 61 runs.

Nisha Adhikari expecting his first child.
Vesawkar also led the champions Tez in the one-day version of Everest Premier League back in 2015 which was played under the title of Nepal Premier League in Fapla cricket ground, Dhangadhi.
Nepal’s T20 world cup qualifiers hero has appeared in final of every franchise cricket league, a total of six, he has been part of winning three, losing two and one yet to be decided on Saturday.
