“Transactions were not satisfactory during the first two days of the expo. But it picked up in the third and the fourth day. We also saw huge footfalls in those days,” said Dev Subba, president of CAN Sunsari and coordinator of the expo.
The event attracted visitors from different fields like businessmen, professionals, engineers, students and general visitors. Most of could be seen 0thronging the stalls featuring latest in information communication technology.

“We were encouraged by people´s growing interest toward information technology,” said Muna Subba, treasurer of CAN Sunsari.
More than 15 percent of the visitors were students. “We were expecting more students, but it couldn´t materialize because majority of schools in the district are conducting their final examinations,” CAN officials said.
According to the organizers, most of the exhibiting companies sold their products at cheaper rates as they were focused more on promoting their products rather than making profit. “Consumers got wide range of products at reasonable prices as the event featured exhibitors from Kathmandu, Biratnagar, Itahari and Dharan,” Subba said.
Though laptop was the major crowd-pullers, the organizers said companies selling home security products recorded brisk business. Likewise, participating companies sold flash drives, anti virus and printers in huge quantity.
The event was organized by the Sunsari district chapter of Computer Association of Nepal (CAN).
