KATHMANDU, Nov 22: Can-Asia Immigration Consultant Canada Inc -- an immigration and settlement agency -- has opened its office in Kathmandu. The firm already has its offices in Canada, the UK, India, Australia and the United Arab Emirates. [break]



Ron Batth, managing director of the agency, Sunday conducted an informatory seminar in the capital and apprised the aspirants about the immigration rules and regulations, related to immigration and international studies to Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.





Gurans Insurance to go public



KATHMANDU, Nov 22: Gurans Life Insurance Company Ltd is issuing ordinary shares soon.



The company has been providing different insurance schemes such as 15-year and 20-year life insurance, children security life insurance and new foreign employment life insurance, says a press release issued on Sunday.



The company has been settling the insurance at the earliest upon the filing of insurance claims.
