KATHMANDU, May 29: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has appointed South African coach Nic Pothas as a consultant to the Nepali national cricket team for the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 tournament to be held in Scotland.
CAN stated in a press release today that Pothas has been appointed as the consultant for the national cricket team.

Previously, he was associated with the national teams of Sri Lanka, the West Indies and Bangladesh. The Nepalese men’s cricket team is currently preparing for a triangular series under the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2.
Nepal, Scotland and the Netherlands will compete in the triangular series, scheduled to take place in Scotland from 2 to 12 June.
With Pothas’s guidance, the Nepal team is expected to improve its performance and deliver its best, CAN said.
