Call to declare Karki a martyr

CHITWAN, May 9: All political parties, except the UCPN (Maoist), have demanded to declare Sudip Karki as a martyr.



A Youth Force activist, Karki was killed on May 6 in Lothar by YCL cadres.



An all-party meeting has also sought compensation for the family of the deceased and punishment guilty in Karki´s murder, UML´s Makwanpur chairman, Rameshwor Rana, said.



Rana also informed that the parties will go for street protests if the demand is not met.
