KATHMANDU, April 2: Laxman Humagain has been appointed as the chairperson of the Advertisement Board.
A cabinet meeting held on Friday morning took a decision to this effect, according to a source privy to this development.

The Advertisement Board, which was formed last year in accordance with the Advertisement (Regulation) Act 2019, aims to regulate, monitor and operate the entire advertisement market of the country.
Meanwhile, the same cabinet meeting appointed Dr Kiran Poudel as the chairperson of President Chure Terai-Madhesh Conservation Program.
Former Nepal Army General Babu Krishna Karki, Dr Sushmita Dhakal, Sashi Sharma and Bheraj Acharaya have been appointed as members of the program.
