The 17-member CA team, led by Amik Sherchan, started collecting opinion in Ratnanagar, Bhandara, Birendra Nagar, and Bachhyauli, among other places, in eastern Chitwan on Saturday. All these areas were off limits after the local Tharus announced their banda (general strike) demanding a separate identity for their community in the constitution.
According to CA member Lalmani Chaudhari, the team will conduct their district-wide opinion collection drive at Narayani Kalamandir at Narayanghat, Sunday.
