CA member attempts suicide

KATHMANDU, July 21: CA member of the CPN (ML) Sharada Nepali, 39, attempted suicide here on Wednesday. She had taken a certain dose of phenyl, the police said.



Nepali, a resident of Thakurdwara-5 in Bardiya, attempted suicide at her rented residence at New Baneshwar. She was immediately rushed to the the nearby Civil Service Hospital from where she was referred to TU Teaching Hospital.



She is said to be recovering at TUTH.
