KATHMANDU, April 29: A meeting of the Constituent Assembly has changed its schedule, extending the deadline to prepare the initial draft of the new statute by three weeks. After the thematic committees failed to study the public opinions collected from villages by the original deadline of April 23, a CA meeting on Wednesday amended the deadline. The change, however, will not affect the deadline for promulgating the statute.
