Present in the discussions held at Singha Durbar, today, are CA Chairman Nembang, Prime Minister and President of the Nepali Congress Sushil Koirala, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs and Vice-chairman of the CPN (UML) Bamdev Gautam, Former Prime Minister and Chairman of the Unified CPN (Maoist) Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
Also, participating in the discussions are the Chairman of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (Nepal) Upendra Yadav, Chairman of the Madheshi Janadhikar Forum (Democratic) Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar, and Chief Whip of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal Dilnath Giri, and other leaders.
The meeting has been called at a time when the opposition parties' alliance led by the Unified CPN (Maoist) has announced a series of protest programmes following the political standoff resulted with the formation of the Questionnaire Committee in the CA.
The CA Chairman Nembang postponed the CA meeting for the indefinite period to give time to the parties to forge political consensus after the opposition parties' protested to the CA procedure and took to the streets. RSS
