At four in the afternoon, Robin and the New Revolution started the concert with their song ‘Hamro Desh’. The band was then followed by performances from 1974 AD who sang their popular songs, ‘Dherai Dherai’, ‘Yo Man Ta Mero Nepali Ho’, ‘Pinjada ko Suga’, etc. Abhaya and The Steam Injuns, The Shadows and Nima Rumba also took to the stage and regaled the crowd with each of their much loved songs. The crowd cheered and sang along to Abhaya and The Steam Injuns’ ‘Shree ma Shree’, ‘Looking for Love’, The Shadows’ ‘Prakriti’, ‘Hidne Manche’ and Nima Rumba’s ‘Miss Catwalk’, ‘Meri Priyasi’ among others.[break]
Singer Abhaya exclaimed that she was enjoying performing on the stage because of the crowd’s excitement. “It’s been a lot of fun,” she remarked. Robin Tamang from the band Robin and the New Revolution said that for an artist, the presence of fans is always exciting.
For Sanjay Karki, a resident of Milan Chowk in Butwal, the fun was in singing along with some of the best loved musical artists in the country.
