Binod Bishwa Tharu, 30, of Gadi VDC-5 was abducted from Baijanathpur at around 4 am on Tuesday.[break]
Tharu was abducted on his way to his shop at Dekuli bazaar of Paterwa, said Parsa District Police Office. News about his abduction came to light only after local people found his bicycle and sandals left unclaimed near Baijanathpur.
According to his family members, Tharu had a heated discussion with a person on his mobile set.
Man missing
KANCHANPUR, Sept. 22: A man has been missing from Mahendranagar bus park since five.
Min Bahadur Chand, 33, of Shreepur-9 has been missing while he on way to home from India.
It is said that Chand´s friends who were also travelling along with him already reached their home. His whereabouts is still unknown.
His family members suspected that somebody might have abducted him for ransom. They have filed a police complaint.
Meanwhile, an unidentified child left unclaimed was found near District Police Office, Mahendranagar, on Tuesday.
A rickshaw driver found the child said to be three-year-old and of Tharu origin. He has been kept at a child orphan house.
