SCB Nepal´s operating profit and net profit for fiscal year 2009/10 was Rs 1.61 billion and Rs 1.08 billion respectively. Similarly, the bank achieved a growth of 17 percent on its risk assets level which was Rs 16 billion as at close of fiscal year 2009/10. [break]
As proposed by the board of directors, the AGM approved payment of 55 percent dividends in cash and issuance of bonus shares at the rate of 15 percent. Speaking on the occasion Swaroop thanked all the shareholders and customers for their continued support in enabling the bank to attain greater heights.
“The bank has continuously been delivering on its promises. I am sure we will deliver a record performance next year. Let me assure you that we are in a better position to deal with the emerging challenges,” said Swaroop.
